Pastor Chris Oyakhilome Reportedly Employs Foreign Security Experts

According to a report by Encomium mag, the Senior Pastor and founder of Christ Embassy, Chris Oyakhilome, has stepped up his personal security. The preacher and TV host is said to have employed the services of a foreign security firm in a bid to beef up security around himself.

According to a source at the church who spoke with the mag, the securitymen who started work at the last Christ Embassy Programme were not blacks. “The guys that guard Pastor now are not blacks. They are non-Africans” The source revealed.
A church administrator DID NOT confirm the report when contacted by Encomium but admitted that the security network at all Christ Embassy branches anywhere in the world is ‘impregnable’.

Chris Oyakhilome is said to be one of the richest pastors in Nigeria and a philanthropist. He recently gave a set of building to the Ambrose Ali University, his Alma Mata where he trained as an architect.

Another case of CHILDBRIDE? Muslim leader oversees wedding of 12-year-old

.

The muslims meticulously want to take after their great Prophet Mohammed when the grey-haired men seek for fresh blood under-aged girls for marriage. I am not a muslim so I cannot blame them for being a faithful disciple of their master, but  As much as this is a religious practice, it has been outlawed in 90% of the muslim countries. Now what an irony. Good development though.

It is indeed quite a shameful thing that Nigeria, an albeit "christian" country will endorse a practice that has been outlawed even in truly muslim nations! Now here is a case of such child-bride issue in another african country. Enjoy.

A Muslim leader was charged to court on Tuesday after he presided over the illegal marriage of a 12-year-old girl to a 26-year-old student visiting Australia from Lebanon. The sham marriage was performed at the home of her father, who

Mysterious 'Healing' River In Enugu State Dries Up

Since a Fulani herdsman discovered a mystery "healing river", which suddenly emerged from nowhere and took over a large expanse of land in a forest at Nnachi, in Udi LGA of Enugu State, the community has not had rest. People have continued to troop to have a spiritual bath and be made whole. However, it seems the party is coming to an end, so to say, as the river is drying up, and fast!

Checks revealed that the river is disappearing, with only a small muddy portion remaining. For the people of Nnachi, the drying up of the river is not a surprise. They said that the mystery river usually sprang up every seven years and lasts for seven days before disappearing. They, however, confessed that the last time the river emerged was  about 30 years ago before appearing last November and remaining in place for more than three months.

The water, which has been nicknamed ‘River of Bethsaida,’ is located about a kilometre into the bush, off the old Awka – Enugu Expressway. Indeed, since the water appeared in the first week of November 2013, the area has turned to a

Pastor Kumuyi Has A Message For Nigerians, SEE What He Said

Dr WF Kumuyi

The General Overseer, Deeper Life Bible Church, Pastor Williams Kumuyi, on Sunday urged Nigerians to always resort to prayer to resolve the problems confronting them individually and as a nation. Kumuyi gave the charge during a special programme held at the church headquarters in Abuja.

He said that worry and anxiety could not bring solutions to the challenges facing individuals or the nation but prayer was necessary to turn things around. The cleric enjoined Christians not to resort to human wisdom, rioting, fighting or mere debates in addressing the challenges of life but to remain steadfast in prayers.

“When Peter was kept in the prison, prayer was made for him; not politics, not human wisdom, not debate, not rioting, not fighting, but prayer.
“When there is a problem, we should resort to prayer,” Kumuyi said.

According to the cleric, God is always ready to step in and fight for his own in time of trouble. He, therefore, urged the people to move closer to God and surrender their affairs to Him

BIZZARE: This Church Allows Members Attend Service Naked...Just like Adam and Eve in the Garden of Eden (PHOTOS)

OK, you all will be quick to refute this news but if it came from CNN, you can believe it a little. lol. Indeed bizarre things do happen...in the church! What can i say? More photos after the gist.

So A church in the US state of Virginia, White Tail Chapel, has taken the bizarre decision to allow its congregation attend church services naked. Because according to their leader, Pastor Allen Parker, the clothing requirements of other churches were overly 'pretentious'. So he decided his own flock should be free to forgo such materialism if they desire.

Pastor Allen claims that many of the most important moments in the Bible happened while the protagonists were nude, including Jesus' crucifixion and resurrection. Speaking to CNN, Mr Parker said:

'When he [Jesus] was born he was naked, when he was crucified he was naked and when he arose he left his clothes in the tomb and he was naked. If God made us that way, how can that be wrong?'

Mr Parker is believed to have drawn at least some of his opinions on nudity from the book of Genesis, in which Adam and Eve were originally described as 'both

APC is like the church of satan - Pastor Tunde Bakare refutes statement.

,

Pastor Tunde Bakare: A chameleon of words or just another politician on the pulpit? According to the NIGERIANBULLETIN, The General Overseer of the Latter Rain Assembly and former Vice Presidential candidate under the Congress for Progressive Change, Pastor Tunde Bakare made some inciting quotes about the APC and less than a fortnight later, has distanced himself from quotes stating that APC is the Church of Satan.

The Quote was:

“APC is like a newly opened church of Satan with the evil as a Pastor which could not be distinguished by Nigerians from a true living Godly Church and hence could be mistaken for a real Church, even when it was made of thieves (Legitimate Pen Robbers), that is why they ganged up against Local Government fiscal Autonomy using crumbs from stolen

UNBELEIVABLE: 10 Most Corrupt Countries in the World...NIGERIA didnt make the list.

Everybody despairs at corruption in government, and it’s unsettling to see how prevalent and deep it runs. While some countries enjoy high levels of freedom and transparency, others are cloaked in secrecy to hide incidents of embezzlement, nepotism, and violence. Some of the countries on this list are dictatorships; others try to put on the pretense of democracy and fail dismally. The following countries are scored on a scale from 0 (highly corrupt) to 100 (very clean) on the 2012 Corruption Perception Index, created by Transparency International. Although no country had a perfect score, more than half scored below 50, indicating an endemic problem with corruption worldwide.

Now these are one of those moments am proud to be a citizen of the "Giant of Africa": of the list of 10 most corrupt countries in the world, NIGERIA was not shortlisted. am sure we also didnt make the top 20 most corrupt list but By faith, i hope we wont be listed in the 50 most corrupt list. *wink*
so see the list below:
