The loving pair officially marked 18 years of marriage on Monday, Jan. 20. In honor of their longevity, the “Fo Yo Soul Recordings” CEO, who will celebrate his 44th birthday on Jan. 26, posted a throwback photo of the lovebirds.
The image, which features a smiling Mrs. Franklin perched in the lap of her
spouse, shows both of them wearing wingtip collars—a now outdated trend.
“Back in the day. Ooh Kill em with those collars! HAPPY ANNIVERSARY BABY!” tweeted Franklin, poking fun at their fashions while attaching the old school snap.
so happy for them. keeping a marriage in this modern day society is indeed a herculean task. Congratulations to them.
