President Goodluck Jonathan worshipped at the Living Faith Church Goshen, Near Keffi Nasarawa State yesterday, 26th January 2014. Picture shows Wife of Bishop David Abioye Pastor Mary Abioye, Bishop David Aboiye, President Goodluck Jonathan,FCT Minister of State Oloye Olajumoke Akinjide, Deputy Governor of Nasarawa State Hon Dameshi Luka and President Goodluck Jonathan Son Master Ariwera at the event.

‪‪The president, who spoke at a church service he attended at Living Faith Church aka Winners Chapel at Goshen City, Nasarawa State, likened the Nigerian situation to that of the national football team, the Super Eagles, who came from
three goals down to defeat their Moroccan counterparts in the quarter finals of the CHAN African championship in South Africa.
“Those of you who watched that match saw that it was not easy at the beginning, it was as if Nigeria would be demolished, but all of a sudden, the young men came very strong and we won. That is how it will be with the story of this country”, Jonathan said.
‪‪He urged Bishop David Abioye to continue to pray for the country, as there was no alternative to the power of prayers.
His words: “With your prayers and commitment, we will get to the destination. The Promised Land has never been an easy one for any nation; it was not easy for the Israelites and I promise that my colleagues and I will continue to do what is right for this country”.
‪‪
‪Admitting that as mere mortals, there could be errors here and there in running the affairs of the country, the president said his administration was committed to doing what is right at all-times.

Bishop Abioye in his remark, commended the president for signing the anti-gay bill into law, saying the decision taken by Jonathan on same s*x marriage was a decision in defence of the church, as well as a decision in the morality of the nation that protects the culture of the black race.

Sahara repoters however, carried reports of the president "church hoping" in abuja in search of luck in the upcoming 2015 Presidential Election.
