This Paraguayan couple met each other, fell in love and moved in together in 1933, six years before the outbreak of World War Two.
And eighty years later, they decided to cement their relationship - by getting married.
Jose Manuel Riella, 103, finally vowed to give himself to Martina Lopez, his 99-year-old bride, during a ceremony attended by dozens of their family members, their eight children, 50 grandchildren , 35 great-grandchildren and 20 great-great-grandchildren.
As guests wiped away the tears, Mr Riella, who wore a smart dark suit and a light blue shirt, sat in his wheelchair and smiled at his wife, who wore a long white wedding dress.
After the vows there was an ‘entertaining’ party and the priest who presided over the Catholic ceremony said they were the oldest newlyweds he had ever married.
MORALS: the reason i posted this is because it has a few moral lessons to teach youngster supposingly bubbling in "loveworld". most love stories these days are usually crash and burns. one day on and one day off. but true love never dies, and iT will last as long as both partners cherish theirself and keep the fire burning. Also, the negligible but rather important fact that any sexual committment by the couples prior to this can be said to be comitting fornication untill they got legally married. but right now they will be fulfilling rightful congujal obligations as they are now pronounced man and wife in the sight of the Lord.
we should also remember the love of God for mankind and the fact that He gave His begootten son Jesus Christ to die for our sakes. we should prepare ourselves as worthy brides for the great feast in Heaven at last. May God help us to keep our love for Him strong and undying. Amen

wish them a happy married life though. lol
