3 more hours to go for the biggest Gospel concert in Nigeria THE EXPERIENCE! #1G1V

sinach

The theme for this year is SACRIFICE OF PRAISE.

Sacrifice of Praise
Praise is simply pouring encouragement upon somebody for what they have accomplished. The English term “worship” comes from two ancient English words: weorth, which means worth, and scipe (or ship), which means quality or condition. So, worth-ship is the value of having worth. Whatever we dedicate our time and vigour to is what or who we worship. When we worship God, we are
ascribing worth to Him and declaring that He alone is worthy. Worship is not always quiet and contemplative. Whether we contemplate, envision, chant, tap, clap, speak, whisper or shout about how awesome our God is, worship should be reserved exclusively for Him. “Give unto the Lord the magnificence due to His name; Worship the Lord in the splendour of holiness.” (Psalm 29:2)

Worship should be enjoyed and not endured. Worship is the strategy by which we interrupt our preoccupation with ourselves and attend to the presence of God. “ – Eugene Peterson

Cant wait to be there!
