Awww... Yinka Ayefele remembers 1997 ghastly accident that confined him to the wheel chair. #THANKFUL

Thank God for his life oo. Somethings that people wonder how they live through just to tell the story. So award winning gospel music star, Yinka Ayefele has offered thanks to God for being alive to tell the story of the accident that confined him to the wheel chair 17 years ago. The ‘Comforter’ singer, who was involved in a ghastly car accident on his way to Abeokuta, Ogun State on Friday, December 12, 1997, took to his Facebook page to appreciate God’s mercies for sparing his life today. The Ibadan-based iconic singer accompanied the words with a collage photo of the damaged vehicle that left him unable to walk since then. See photos after the cut

‘REJOICE AND THANK GOD WITH ME. the journey started exactly 17yrs ago, it was on Friday, December 12th 1997. On my way to Abeokuta where I had that ghastly motor accident. it was indeed MY TURNING POINT. ‘ODUNMBAKU’ I will for ever be grateful to you my Lord. Thank you all for your love, support and encouragement. When there is life there is hope.’
