Where it all began...

The first bible written in a native Nigerian language inside the first storey building in Nigeria. First Storey Building in Nigeria was started in 1842 and finished in 1845 in Badagry, Lagos State.

Inside the building is the first Bible translated in Yoruba by Ajayi Crowther. Crowther began translating the Bible into Yoruba language and compiling a Yoruba dictionary.
