Is this an season of God's unfettered supernatural healing or are people just been gullible to anything appealing in deseperation for a miracle? Well your guess is as good as mine. Last year, it was all over the news of a miracle healing stream that suddenly appeared in a community in Udi local govt, Enugu state. incase you miss the news, find it HERE. Now it has been reported another stream of healing water in Kebbi state.

Scores of people are undertaking pilgrimage to Unguwar Yari village in Jega LGA of Kebbi State in hopes of finding cure for their various ailments with the help of underground water believed to have ‘healing powers’.

Residents of the village have fenced in the source of the water. The Council has also provided plastic containers of different sizes for those who wish to fetch
some water. The community has established a monitoring committee to make sure that the water was free for everyone and to prevent any commercial activities.
A guide Malam Yaro Unguwar-Yari narrated:
“The water was discovered by a grandmother who was searching of medicinal herbs for her sick grandchild. The news of the healing water spread when the woman revealed that afer drinking from the underground water, her grandchild was healed instantly.”
The guide also added that 40 or 50 vehicles would come to the village every day.
Malam Usman Dan-Malam, a farmer, claimed that the water healed pains in his leg. One Malam Yahaya Sarki said he prayed over the water, gave it to his child to drink and immediately she stopped bed-wetting. Mai Akwai Abubakar said that he was healed of his ailment after drinking the water, adding that had sent two 25-litre containers with the water to his friends.

Briefing the press on Monday, Council Chairman Alhaji Haruna Mai-Jega said people have flooded the village to drink or bathe in the mysterious waters.
“The Council has obtained clearance from health officials who conducted tests and confirmed that the water is free of diseases,” Mr. Mai-Jega assured.
“We have no intention of preventing people who believe in the healing powers of the water to make use of it. The council will not be a hindrance to those who choose to use the water, but we will ensure there is no lawlessness in the process,”he warned.

But this community leaders fast oo. Already fenced the whole place and cashing in on their "natural resources". And i heard that the stream in Enugu state has lost its healing powers from the last news i read about it. Chai, bad market for my Igbo boys. lol.

Now, relating this to the story of the man born crippled who lay beside the pool of Bethsaida, waiting for the waters to be troubled by an angel so that the first person to enter the pool is miraculously healed. am sure you remember the story. What can we learn from that story?

When Jesus Christ arrived at the pool and saw the sick people there, He did not again comand His angels to come again and trouble the waters so that many more people can go in to swim and get healed. Instead He asked, [paraphrasing] "thou crippled man, what shall i do for you". The crippled man gave Jesus a rather uninformed answer: first lamenting that he has noone to push him into the pool and that other people get into the pool not minding whether he has been their before them and had waited longer for this miracle to happen in his life.

If that crippled man had known that he was speaking with the Son of the Living God, and that God himself was present right there with him in flesh to performed that miracle and even greater works in his life, he wouldnt have given such an answer. Many of us like the crippled man, overlook this same Jesus that is present everywhere and at all times on your beck and call; and we keep hunting for streams of healing waters and other miracle centers looking for a solution to our problem. Well, i tell you today, that Jesus Christ is present right there with you, and He is still willing to perform another healing, another miracle in your life. Why not call upon Him today.
