Add caption
Dike Ocha, 50-year-old pastor of Evangelical Church of West Africa was on Tuesday murdered by youths in Kankia town in Kankia LGA of Katsina State. The assailants also burnt the pastor's church and the church.

Apparently, the youths held the pastor accountable for the death a six-year-old girl, Fatima Yusuf. The little girl had been missing for several days before her dead body was found near to the pastor's residence. The girls' corpse was mutilated, and her private parts removed.

The local youths concluded that the pastor was to blame and took the law in their
own hands. While Pastor Ocha was allegedly rescued, his attackers followed him to the hospital, killed him and set his body on fire. The local police have confirmed the incident, adding that the Eze Igbo of Kankia who was at the residence of the pastor at the time of the attack escaped narrowly. His properties were also set ablaze by the youths.

The police condenmed the attack and assured that investigation into the matter has commenced.

It leaves one wondering why these muslim youths are always quick to get agressive and destructive on the christians yet the claim that "islam is a religion of peace". like they just sit patiently n watch out for any slightest provocation and act without questioning? The Imams are pretty much doing a poor job at giving them the right teaching.
