OH NO! Just when we thought that we would stop hearing bad news from our churches, another horror story surfaces!
Self-proclaimed prophet, Royce Archibald, from Christ Evangelism International Ministries in Zimbabwe is hoisted to the courts of justice following allegations that
during the month of April 2015, the 34-year old pastor deceived congregation member Tinashe Chakota that if he gives him a sum of $600, he would pray for the money to multiply so that in 3 days, Chakota might be able to afford a car. The 'prophet' however then never returned the money.

In addition to this, Archibald also allegedly duped a lady, Angela Kweyu, into giving him $2,400 to buy her a dryer and detergents, which he then never delivered.
Then, to make matters worse, as if they were not already bad enough, New Zimbabwe reported that on June 2nd 2015, Archibald also contacted ZRP provincial victim friendly unit and accused another pastor, Pastor Zimunya, of raping 2 of his congregants, while being aware that these accusations were false.
Archibald now stands facing 2 charges of fraud and 1 charge of supplying false information to a public official.
It is so deeply saddening to see people committing sins in GOD's name and hiding behind the veil of Christianity. At least we can rest, assured that all will be well because of His promise in Matthew 16:18 that ' I will build my church; and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it'
