Bibles for Iraq!- SEE why American Ministry sends audio Bibles to Iraqi ISIS Victims

An organisation called 'Bibles for Refugees' started a project called 'Bibles for Iraq', the aim of which is to give each displaced Christian their own copy of the Word of GOD.
Read more about how they did this after the cut!

This Christian ministry tried to provide both material and spiritual aid to the Christians displaced by ISIS in Iraq, including food and other necessities as well as audio Bibles in Turkish and Kurdish.

The reason why audio Bibles where distributed in particular was due to the illiterate nature of many of these victims and the organisation was proud to offer them access to the Word of GOD in their native languages as many of them had never been able to read/hear it before.

Greg Kelley, the World Mission Executive Director, said this touching statement:
"Humanitarian assistance shows love in a practical way that will last temporarily, The Word of GOD in their own mother tongue language will provide hope and transformation that is permanent."
The work that they're doing is fantastic and both the project and the audio Bible known as 'Treasure' are impacting so many lives in Iraq today. They hope that by the end of 12 months, 144 people will be ministered to by a single Treasure (Audio Bible) and the organisation has raised about 60% of the $30,000 that they need to complete this project.

We thank GOD.
