A man who was identified as Yishai Schlissel was arrested again on Thursday after only being released 3 weeks ago, from his 10-year prison sentence for the exact same crime.
The defiant man, who in 2005 stabbed 3 marchers at the annual gay pride parade and was convicted for attempted murder, struck again on Thursday, only 3 weeks after being released from his 10 year sentence. This time, Schlissel launched out in full force and stabbed 6 people while claiming to the police that he came "to kill in the name of GOD".
The emergency services reported that 2 of the victims were in a serious condition and when caught, Schlissel was pinned to the ground by police officers.
However, he is not the only orthodox jew in Jerusalem to be opposed to the parade as many others believe that it defiles the holy city and offends many of its residents, while some newspapers go as far as to call it the 'Parade of Abomination'. In addition many Christians and Muslims also criticise this annual parade in Jerusalem.
