RCCG Rebukes Same Sex Marriage

Well what did we expect from the Church of GOD? Of course they were going to rebuke it, but see what the church had to say about both same sex marriages and about Christians in politics, particularly poignant with Pastor Osinbajo as our new Vice- President!
According to the Vanguard newspaper, this is what RCCG's Head of Media and Public Relations, Pastor Segun Adegbiji, had to say about these topics.

Same sex marriage:

"We don't support it. There is no where in The Bible where GOD said that people of the same sex can get married. The stand of the church is very clear and it states; one man, one wife."

Christians in politics:

"We do not bar individual members of the church from participating in politics but we are not accountable for their performance. We pray for those in power as The Bible has enjoined us to. That is our stand but we believe that by the end of this year, Nigerians will have cause to say that all is well."

And all we have to say in response to that is a huge AMEN!
